VR Game of the Year
Focusing on the use of Virtual Reality within games is the VR game of the year award. This combines the ingenuity and creativity that it takes to make a successful game along with the innovative use of movement that makes an experience worth while.
Bend and twist reality in A Fisherman’s Tale, the mind-bending VR puzzle adventure game in which being turned upside down and inside out is not merely a play on words.
Playing as Bob, a tiny fisherman puppet, you live alone in your tiny cabin, oblivious to the world outside. When your radio broadcasts a storm alert, you have to get to the top of the lighthouse and turn on the light! But as you try to leave your cabin with the help of some uncanny sidekicks, you realize what’s waiting outside is not at all what you expected…
• Break more than a couple laws of physics in mind-bending VR puzzles!
• Reach the top of the lighthouse before The Big Storm, with the help of some uncanny sidekicks!
• Use your hands to pick up, throw, combine, and use all kinds of things in glorious fully immersive virtual reality!
• Toy around with your tiny little model lighthouse, inside a lighthouse, inside… is that another lighthouse?
• Uncover the truth at the core of an unusually tall Fisherman’s Tale, exclusively in VR.
Brought to you by Vertigo Games, the team behind Arizona Sunshine & Skyworld, A Fisherman’s Tale is developed by INNERSPACE VR and co-produced by ARTE.

A Fisherman’s Tale is a surprising and delightful little game with excellent graphics, storytelling, intriguing puzzles, and a helpful narrartor to guide you through the story. Some of the puzzles were a bit tricky but none were impossible.
Each of the chapters takes about 10-15min.
You are in for a real treat. I think this is an absolute must-try VR experience!

This is what VR is all about.
You can finish it in one session but uses the medium to its full and is packed with great ideas.

Now THIS is a good game. Sure, it’s short, but its unique and well-realized mechanics don’t overstay their welcome and are never annoying. It has fantastic style and character, and doesn’t stray too far into the artsy territory, always keeping its feet planted firmly on its premise and doing fun and creative things.

As a free title on Viveport this is excellent, but I may have been somewhat disgruntled had I bought this on Steam due to the length (around 75minutes).
What there is here is excellent though and well worth the time to download and play.

Really nice little game. Short, but if you have Infinity this is a must play.
