LOVE the immersiveness of this GoT experience. You’re thrown right into a snowy world as part of Night’s Watch, and handed a big sword 🙂 Good stuff.

I’m a big fan of Game of Thrones and I loved this experience. But it is an “experience”, not a game. In these 6-7 minutes of content, you really feel like a guy of the Night’s Watch, trying to survive against the white walkers. Don’t subscribe to Infinity ONLY for this, but if you’re already a subscriber, you should definetly try it !!

I am a super fan of HBO Game of Thrones and was surprised by the immersive quality of this VR experience. The attention to detail in every texture, from the snowy wind, icy footprints and the sounds of the dead closing in on you… it was way better than my wildest expectations. Whoever produced this epic tech demo is my hero and I could not help but wonder if HBO will ever realize that GOT would easily make a stellar Skyrim VR like masterpiece! Highly recommended! 😀

This is not a game, but a VR experience. Expect a 5 minute demo of how cool a game of thrones game could be.

If this is a work in progress looks promising

I liked it alot. Really felt as if I was beyond the wall in GOT.

Graphics and animations were great. It was a tiny blurry, like it needs some super sampling added, but I couldn’t fault its looks.

Biggest negative is the length and the fact this isn’t a full GOT game 🙁
narrative was spot on.

Wonna see what I think search for Paolo Trianni Game of Thrones Beyond the wall on YouTube.

The whole experience was very very very intense. I had a blast. I’m not sure if it’s the Viveport or the Rift S having issues with each other, but the game was full of stutter and framerate issues. I’m sure it’s because of the 80hz display, instead of the standard 90hz.

This game was the reason I signed up for VivePort so it’s pretty dissapointing. Good thing I’ve got a free trial still. I played it once but I’m uninstalling it now. It only takes a minute to actually go through the whole thing. Might as well have just watched the YouTube trailer for it.

This was a pretty lame experience. You move past the wall, swing the sword several times and then die. Nothing great.

Very short as it says. No blocking mechanic so you just swing your sword about aimlessly until game ends.

Everything you see in the screenshots is 100% the entirety of the game. You walk down a path, walk outside and get stabbed to death. You do get to swing the sword around, but it’s awkward with no real combat mechanics. characters have no real physics either, so it’s immersion breaking and hilariously bad.

I’ve played a lot of cheap or free VR games and many times I’ve been impressed by the inmersion or the mechanics. No this time. I knew that it would be a short experience and not a game, but I was still dissapointed… there was nothing to do and not much to see.

While the scenery was immersive, this left a lot to be desired. It says “Use your ranger skills” however it seemed like skill didn’t come into play at all. This was a very short and disappoiting experience. There should be an option of free roaming to look at the scenery and Castle Black.

This is a joke. Literally 1 minute experience with no real movement mechanics except for a short “rail”. Sword mechanic is really poor on Vive, can’t block attacks, can’t stab, sword itself is weirdly offseted and not sitting properly in the hand. Other than that – there isn’t even anything to review really, it’s literally 1 minute experience. After poor season 8, jokes like this aren’t funny anymore.

Worst movement mechanics ive seen in a vr game thus far.
Lame combat.

The visual design is the only saving grace for this game.

the only benefit to this game is that it says game of thrones. Literally 5 minutes long… Total disappointment. If I had to pay for that I’d be rioting…

Not good. Honestly bad enough that it feels like all the 5 star reviews could be fake. This is 5 minutes long, it does not run well, visually its just disappointing. The tunnel is cool but beyond that its just fog. Its MAYBE 5 minutes long and ultimately not worth your time. The fact that Viveport is advertising this so much is just a desperate ploy to pull in unwitting subscribers for a failing platform.

This game is so boring and does not really have anything to do with GOT……..

This wasn’t a game. I have no idea what this was. A 5 minute demo? Seriously, this could have been released when VR first came out and would have been a somewhat interesting experience… but VR has moved far beyond what this has to offer.

Quite possibly one of the worst VR games Ive played. Youre on rails and glide around a predetermined path. The gameplay is slow and when faced with walkers they run up to you then stand still in front of you and to kill them you need to ‘touch’ them with the sword, not swing the blade, you can literally place that flat side of the sword against a walker and that counts as a hit. Winter may be coming but immersion is quite some time off yet
