“In 1956, a nine years old child died in the psychiatric hospital of Santa Benedetta Martire. Her name was Allison. While alive, Allison wrote a personal diary, which is said to contain the truth about her past and the creepy life at the hospital. The diary was never found.
A few years later, the hospital was shut down, and became a terrifying, god-forsaken place. You are Guglielmo Carter, a dauntless reporter interested in finding Allison’s diary and revealing its hidden secrets.”
Taken from real facts, “The Hospital: Allison’s Diary” is a new horror virtual reality experience, putting the user alone in an abandoned hospital searching for the unknown with only the help of a single torch. You will face true fear in a way you had never thought possible.
The whole environment is free to be visited, while jump scares and cinematic effects will literally make you forget about the real world surrounding you.
(also playable on Oculus Rift)

It’s got some nice jump scares. The movement system leaves something to be desired. The movement can be frustrating getting through doors which really takes away from the experience. There could also be a little more depth to the story. The ending was treated like a revelation when it was pretty clear from the beginning.

very short, maybe 10 minutes but only because you are limited to walking extremely slow. It’s definitely got that indie dev low budget feel to it.

The game feels very janky. Many wave horror games that just does this better. Gets boring quick. Graphics are bad. The sound is just out-of-place, disjointed and wrong.
The atmosphere is good and it can make you jump.
This game made it in my worst rated steam VR games video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAi4iuNMwEs

Awful graphics. Very short. Slow movement speed. No narration, nothing to read, no story to unravel as to draw in the player with an engaging backstory. Just some jumpscares and an abrupt ending that prevents you from exploring the rest of the hospital, and have to redo things if you want to look around some more.
On the plus side, it doesn’t crash and seems to run fine.

Not scary at all… not worth the time. Ending left a lot to be desired. Wouldn’t even pay $1 for this.
