Whether you’re a seasoned pilot or just looking to take to the skies for the first time, you’ll have a blast with “FlyInside Flight Simulator.”
#4: “Blind spot tackling training drills simulator” (HTC Vive/Oculus Rift)

While Robinson: One on One may not be as highly anticipated as some of the other games on this list, it still looks like it’ll be a lot of fun. It’ll be interesting to see how Crytek uses virtual reality technology to create an immersive basketball experience for players.
#1 Transformers Beyond Reality
Transformers Beyond Reality VR is a first-person shooter developed by KonceptVR and published by Lionsgate Games. The game puts you in the shoes of Autobot leader, Optimus Prime, as you battle against the Decepticons in locations all across the globe. And unlike other VR games where you are limited to a small area, Beyond Reality uses room-scale tracking so that you can move around freely in your playing space. This really adds to the immersion factor as you can duck for cover or dodge enemy fire just like in a real firefight.
One of the things I really loved about Beyond Reality was the attention to detail. From the beautifully rendered graphics to the pulse-pounding soundtrack, everything about this game transported me into the world of Transformers. I also appreciated how the developers stayed true to the source material. As a longtime fan of the Transformers franchise, it was great to see some of my favorite characters and locations brought to life in VR.
If I had to nitpick, I would say that Beyond Reality is a bit on the short side. There are only four levels in total, and they can be completed in an afternoon. However, each level does have multiple difficulty settings which extend the replay value somewhat. Additionally, there are plans for more levels to be released as DLC down the line. These are just some of the most highly anticipated virtual reality games set to be released in August 2022! With so many great VR games on the horizon, it’s shaping up to be an exciting year for gamers everywhere. Which VR game are you most looking forward to?
