A great way to unwind after a day on the computer. Use a swivel chair and you can swap sides of the boat when needed, and allow yourself a little extra room when sailing the yacht!
The one downside is that you have to sail with someone in multiplayer to reach the highest level and I’ve not seen many on. I suppose they all put a fan in front of their chair to simulate the wind and are relaxing at home.

I have no sailing xp in real life, but I very much liked the xp in VR. Interesting to see what you can do with two simply gripping hands, your seating position in the boat for balance and a few very basic indicators for wind and environmental conditions. Excellent timed tutorial for blooddy beginners, no matter if for sailing or for VR

Okay the first thing to note is that I have sailed in real life many many times and so i find the whole consept incredibly simple. Unfortunately this game makes it difficult. Whilst I understand the restrictions of vr there are many issues. The water appears to have no influence on the boat, the main sheet and tiller both bind to your hands requiring a fight to let go of them (essential every time you turn the boat) and occasionally holding the controller still makes the boat turn by itself in a very unnatural way. This game is a good concept but needs a lot of work to make it practical and playable.

Basic graphics, lacking any detail or depth, just a quick experience as most of these “VR games” are to be honest. Couldn’t get into it for too long, was quite dull, sorry.
